Great site! Wonderful variety of movie and TV shows. Do you plan to include Maverick in your TV listings? By the way…I have a great deal of trouble logging on to the site. I keep getting dropped and it takes several tries bifore I’m solidly logged on. Curious if others have experienced similar difficulties. Thanks and Happy Trails!

    1. Howdy back Thanks for the post . I would like to have Maverick on the site and am working on it. I spent all day a few months back on the phone with some folks from Warner Bros. and may be able to work some things out later. But I am not sure about Warner Bros. content at this time. As for you being dropped. Try using internet explorer and let me know what happens. Thanks .

    Hey Bob,

Several months ago I submitted an email to you in which I requested that, if possible, you could make available for viewing an old Western from 1951, named Tomahawk, with Van Heflin. Months passed and no reponse. I began to think that either it wasn’t available or because of some restraints on your time or resources the movie just wasn’t going to be posted on your site. Every week I checked and although a number of fine movies were added to your growing inventory, no Van Heflin, no Tomahawk movie.

Until today! I can’t express to you what a thrill it was to watch this movie after 61 years have passed. The colors in this movie are as vivid today as they were back when I was 8 years old, sitting in the Crystal Theatre in Chicago, watching my very first movie that I was allowed to go to all by myself. I simply cannot tell you how incredibly good this made me feel.

I know that you are a businessman and that a good part of this effort must be business driven. I sincerely hope that there is also a similar good part of you that does this for the gratification that this brings to so many of us old, kids at heart.

Thank you so much and God Bless.

    Fred

I remember that day as if it were yesterday. My mom gave me 50 cents, which covered the 25 cents admission, 2, 5 cent candy bars, a coke and a box of popcorn. My father, an Army officer, was home for the weekend, and they wanted some “alone time.”
Before Tomahawk played there was a newsreel, 3 or 4 cartoons, a serial chapter, coming attractions and the first of the double feature. I don’t remember the first film at all. But Tomahawk for a few reasons has remained in my memory to

this day. I believe partly due to the beautiful headdresses that the Indians wore, partly to the beautiful eyes of the actress and then the wonderful scenery they used as backdrops. I had never in my life seen such fantastic looking country, having lived my entire life in the city of Chicago. Thank you again for the privilege of reliving such a wonderful memory.
